The nickname Ibukardus has stuck with Nur Maliyanti since she started posting her work on social media in 2014. The hashtag Ibukardus is given to every post of her cardboard work.

Ibukardus started his interest in creating works from used cardboard since late 2013. At that time, his eldest son wanted to be a robot, so he made a simple robot costume from used cardboard. Since then he has become passionate about making many works from cardboard. He really enjoyed his time exploring creative techniques using cardboard as the basic material.

In 2015 Ibukardus began actively providing workshops for children and adults. The aim is so that children and parents can be inspired and have the skills to make their own toys using used cardboard at home.

Currently, Ibukardus makes cardboard toy patterns for sale. There are many requests from parents who want to create unique works and provide useful activities for their children, but have limitations in making patterns and preparing materials at home. So a Cardboard KIT was created from Ibukardus which can be assembled directly anywhere, complete with equipment and manufacturing instructions.

She still runs this toy business herself with the help of her husband. She hasn't thought about developing this business into a big one because since having her third child, her time for work has started to become limited because she prioritizes children and family. Even though he sells cardboard toy patterns, he still wants to encourage parents to use the cardboard they have at home. His current dream is to make a book to share more creative tips and work patterns, but he still lives it with the principle of "alon-alon as long as it's done".
